Standing at an impressive 6 feet, Shanitha might seem a bit intimidating at first glance. However, just spend five minutes with him, and you’ll quickly find he’s actually a friendly soul. Shanitha hails from Kandy, a city where history and spirituality flow as gracefully as the Mahaweli River itself. He attended the esteemed St. Anthony’s College, where he excelled in sports, especially rugby. His love for the game led him to captain the famous CR and FC rugby club and even represent the National team.

With over 35 years in the travel industry, Shanitha has a knack for transforming journeys into stories, infusing every adventure with authenticity, detail, luxury, and a sprinkle of wonder. He’s explored numerous European countries and the United States, working with some of the world’s top travel brands and forging lasting partnerships. As the founder of Authenticities, Shanitha focuses on the European and US markets, specialising in incentive and luxury travel. His genuine care for partners and clients shines through in his business approach. Despite his tough exterior, Shanitha is incredibly easy-going, with a quirky sense of humour and a heartfelt desire to help those in need.

Dilshad has spent some 20+ years turning his island home into a canvas of discovery. With a knack for curating immersive experiences out of thin air and designing meaningful journeys, he has become a trusted voice in the travel trade. But the beginning days of his corporate life started very differently as a stockbroker all the way back in 1993, followed by a brief stint in the IT sector. But any run-of-the-mill job could not shackle the spirit of a born explorer. In 2004, Dilshad followed his passion and entered the travel industry, and as they say, the rest is history!

From curating bespoke itineraries that transcend the known realms to building partnerships that champion conscious travel, Dilshad thrives on crafting experiences that go beyond postcards and itineraries. He has a deep appreciation for architecture, spaces, and simple designs that draw out natural forces, which continually inspire him. A connoisseur of stories, driven by curiosity and guided by authenticity, Dilshad believes travel is not just about where you go, but how it makes you feel, and the friendships you carry long after the journey ends. When the day slows down, Dilshad loves spending time with his family. But in the quiet hours, you may find him in his “mancave”, listening to his most treasured vinyl records ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Led Zepplin and rocking out.

Wilhelm, a former cricketer, began his exciting journey at Wesley College and quickly made a name for himself with his talent. He was selected for the Sri Lanka under-23 team to play against Pakistan, showcasing his impressive skills as an opening bowler. He also played for the Burgher Recreation Club in Colombo. After hanging up his cricket bat, Wilhelm dived into the tourism industry, starting his career at Voyages Ceylon in 1974. His love for travel and the French language and culture led him to move to France in 1980, where he pursued a degree at the University of Rouen until 1984.

Upon returning to Sri Lanka, Wilhelm became a driving force in developing the French and Benelux markets as a travel expert. He worked with well-known tourism brands like Ormes, Fram Voyages, Asia Voyages, and SDT Incentives, earning a reputation as the go-to person for incentives, thanks to his creative and practical program designs. Wilhelm is also a passionate reader, known for his knack for throwing in unexpected zingers at just the right moment, making him a beloved figure both at work and with friends who can’t wait to hang out with him.

In his free time, Wilhelm enjoys sports, music, and exploring new places. Most of all, he loves drawing mind-blowing stories from the island’s vibrant history.

Amila brings with him over 8 years experience operating within the French market. Amila speaks fluent French and followed the diploma programme at the Alliance Francaise in Kandy. His passion for the French lanugaue paved the way to the Tourism industry. Always committed to his work, Amila is loved by his partners for his unpretentious approach but consistent and committed delivery in everything he does.

Amila hails from Kandy and studied at the Kingswood College. It is a well-known secret that together with Wilhelm, Amila works in tandem to give the best clients expect. Amila is a huge supporter of the Sri Lanka Cricket team and also loves Music and Movies.

Meet Gayan Gunasekera, manager for Italy and Spain and your go-to guy for any travel-related questions in Sri Lanka. With 20+ years of excellent experience in the tourism industry, Gayan joined the Authenticities family when the company was still budding through its early years. Today, Gayan stands as one of the seasoned experts at Authenticities with a benign personality and dedicated hours spent at the gym. How would you start up a conversation with him? Sipping through a few shots of arrack (Sri Lanka’s favourite alcoholic beverage) would be a way to break the ice.

Armed with the personality of a happy clam, Laroshi started working for Authenticities in April of 2017. With a whopping 15 years of experience in the travel trade, she keeps the ball rolling for the UK market while entertaining everyone around her with a bit of everyday witticism.

Growing up in Naples, Italy and Brighton, UK meant she’s made herself fluent in speaking several languages: French, Italian and a bit of Spanish. This also means her love for food is indisputable. When she’s not too busy being a mother to a very adorable pup named Rhaegar (yes, influenced by her favourite fantasy series GOT), she loves making yummy dishes for her husband (and beats him to finishing everything). Hashtag aficionado, a CrossFit buff and an (underrated) competitive gamer, Laroshi’s current mission is to finish reading Sapiens amongst a few others.

Meet Dharshi, Authenticities’ dedicated …….. of Finance. With her wealth of experience and vibrant personality, she is a cornerstone of our team. If someone were to describe her, we believe the perfect term would be something akin to “sunshine mixed with a little hurricane.” This captures her ability to bring warmth and energy to any room, while also possessing a fierce drive and determination that ensures everything runs smoothly.

Boasting over 35 years of experience in trade, Dharshi expertly manages our books, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. Her meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills help maintain a tight schedule of our financial flow, making her an invaluable asset to our company.

Among her many talents, what we cherish most is her hearty and somewhat boisterous laugh. It’s a sound that can break anyone’s attention for all the right reasons, spreading joy and positivity throughout the office. Dharshi’s infectious laughter and spirited nature make her not just a colleague but a beloved friend to everyone at Authenticities.

Managing our Finance department is Farzana. With 29 years of experience in the area of finance, Farzana is a well-versed expert in handling and overseeing our accounts and the payments flowing in and out of the company, ensuring that all work is completed in an orderly and efficient manner. Her extensive knowledge and dedication make her an invaluable asset to our team.

Though Farzana is someone who generally keeps to herself, she is remarkably reliable and always gets her work done on time. However, whenever the occasion calls for it, she is more than capable of letting her social skills shine. Farzana isn’t shy about kicking up her heels and having fun with the rest of us, adding a delightful balance to her professional demeanor.

Managing the US and Australia channels for Authenticities, Dulith is well on his way to becoming a seasoned veteran in the travel industry. With nearly 15 years of experience in incentives and operations, Dulith leads the team handling everything from leisure travel and special interest groups to incentives and private jets.

Dulith’s passion for travel began in his childhood when his family moved throughout Asia, a circumstance for which he remains grateful. Known for his calm and composed demeanour, Dulith is a natural problem solver, though he can become fanatical when spreadsheets are involved. A devout Manchester United fan, Dulith’s idea of a perfect evening includes a glass of whiskey on the rocks and listening to heavy metal. Although he owns an electric guitar, he has yet to decide whether to pursue his dream of moonlighting as a lead guitarist someday!

Most weekends, you’ll find Nuwan spending his time at national parks learning about animal behaviour. Much like the Panthera pardus kotiya – the Sri Lankan Leopard, Nuwan could be pegged as an individual similarly elusive and excellent at tracking down his favourite old-world mammal of the Felidae family just by using a pair of binoculars and his most treasured possession in life – his camera.

Having grown up in Sri Lanka and worked in the travel industry since 2014, provided a greater leeway for Nuwan to pursue his passion for wildlife and, much to his excitement, integrate it with his career. Today, Nuwan hails as an accomplished explorer, specialized wildlife travel consultant, photographer and enthusiast who aspires to pursue the farthest expanses of a wildly diverse destination and capture stories & travel experiences that encourage travellers to consider their relationship with nature, while promoting the preservation of wild places everywhere.
Layered by adventure, outdoorsiness, old-school rock music and lifestyle perspectives, Nuwan is known for his untamed passion for creating unique wildlife travel experiences and his expertise on all things wild.

Having spent a good deal of her childhood living in Vietnam and Sri Lanka, Samadi grew a permeating taste for travel, which resulted in her 13-year-long career in the tourism industry. Engrained with deep-seated cultural values and a laid-back attitude to spare, Samadi pursued her higher studies in Malaysia and Australia but wanted to return home and continue the next chapter of her life in Sri Lanka, her one true home. While she has traversed most places, her heart is set on Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Myanmar, in that order because they continue to hold a sense of profound value and nostalgia to which she’s always been drawn.

While Sam (short for Samadi), by her very nature, has mastered the art of patience and the ability to adapt to her surroundings at a mile a minute, serve her a cup of coffee instead of tea, then perhaps you will understand there is only one thing she won’t tolerate so much! Armed with a simple mantra of “love the life you live”, Sam is thoughtfully aware of just how incredibly big the world is and how travel sustains a life full of different connections, memories and possibilities.

Vivian has always been captivated by the allure of travel, nurturing this passion throughout his life. In 2008, he turned his dream into a career by joining the tourism industry. His dedication and skill quickly made him one of the best in managing operations for some of the most prestigious tour operators across Europe. Vivian’s expertise and commitment to excellence did not go unnoticed, and in 2019, he became a valued member of the Authenticities family. Since then, he has continued to thrive, expertly handling all operational tasks for our expanding regions in the United States and Australia.

Outside of his professional achievements, Vivian shares a common enthusiasm for cricket, much like the rest of us. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing softball cricket, which allows him to stay connected to his favorite sport. Additionally, Vivian is a movie enthusiast and an avid reader, with a particular fondness for DC comics. Whether he’s exploring the intricacies of a new storyline or indulging in a cinematic adventure, Vivian’s interests reflect his dynamic personality and zest for life.

Madara joined the team in September 2020 and currently serves as the Head of Impact Travel and Content Writing. With over a decade of experience in the travel sector, she specialises in curating immersive and educational travel ventures in Sri Lanka. Her expertise in previous roles includes coordinating CSR initiatives and educational tours for schools and universities in Australia and the USA. She is deeply committed to sustainable tourism and embraces travel writing as a canvas for her own voice and style, weaving emotion into every story to create an experience that feels deeply human. Through Authenticities’ low-emission travel project, Renew, she designs place-sensitive tours that offer off-the-beaten-path, high-value, low-volume, and bespoke experiences centred around nature and communities. Madara plays a pivotal role in transforming our travel narratives into compelling written pieces and shaping both brands.

On weekends, you’ll often find Madara in her space, engaged in small pleasures that bring her joy, such as cooking, sketching, and exploring the cosmos. Her passion for outer space shapes her outlook on life, viewing it as a vast universe brimming with beauty and possibilities, always open to exploration and discovery. She is determined to complete Tolkien’s works and enjoys hard rock music throughout her day; it’s nearly impossible to find her without her earphones.

Hailing from the charming town of Kelaniya, Sathsara’s journey has always been beautifully intertwined with the wonders of nature. She has always had a keen curiosity about the environment, which inspired her to pursue a BSc (Special) in Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Right now, she’s excitedly expanding her knowledge with an MSc in Environmental Science at the University of Peradeniya.

When it comes to travel, she’s a self-proclaimed mountain enthusiast who prefers misty peaks and forest trails over sandy beaches. Beyond her environmental pursuits, Sathsara’s world is an eclectic mix of creativity and curiosity. She loves baking, travelling, and unwinding with a good movie or a Netflix series after a busy day. As a PS4 gamer at heart, she enjoys racing through Gran Turismo, and at home, her happiest moments are spent with her pets, her constant companions and source of joy. Calm, grounded, and full of quiet determination, Sathsara brings a fresh perspective to the team as the Impact Analyst of Renew by Authenticities’ conscious travel initiative.

Meet Nishok, the office sage and wizard of operations. Born in Bahrain, he returned to his homeland at around six years old. After moving to Sri Lanka, Nishok was raised and educated at a prestigious school in Colombo. With a passion for cricket since childhood, he dreamed of exploring Sri Lanka’s quiet corners to deepen his cultural and historical understanding of the island.

Upon completing his education, Nishok swiftly entered the travel industry in 2010. He brings a steady presence and a wealth of experience to every journey we design. With an eye for detail and a love for discovery, he ensures that each itinerary is not only well-planned but also rich in meaning and authenticity. Whether navigating travel logistics or sharing stories from his own adventures, Nishok has a knack for putting colleagues and travellers at ease. He’s our dependable guy behind the scenes, keeping the team grounded while inspiring us to continue exploring.

Ishara joined Authenticities initially as an intern but quickly proved to all of us that she doesn’t belong anywhere else but our growing family. Always dressed in a bubbly personality, she has become an indispensable part of our team, seamlessly integrating herself into the core of our operations. Her role at Authenticities is pivotal, ensuring that all operations run smoothly for both North America and Australia. This is no small feat, as her responsibilities span across continents, requiring her to coordinate with various teams and manage diverse tasks with precision and finesse.

Despite the demanding nature of her job, she possesses exceptional organizational skills, which she executes with a quiet grace. She diligently keeps all the bookings in check and expertly manages a million phone calls made each day. This becomes particularly challenging during the busy seasons, when the volume of work increases exponentially, yet Ishara handles it all with remarkable poise and efficiency. Her ability to remain calm under pressure and her knack for problem-solving are truly admirable.

As a superhero-Robin who works behind the curtains, Ishara deserves all the credit she could possibly get! Her contributions often go unnoticed, but her impact is felt throughout the company. She is the unsung hero of Authenticities, ensuring that everything runs smoothly so that our clients receive the best possible service. Her dedication and hard work are an inspiration to all, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our team.

With nearly five years of experience in the tourism industry, Harshi is the vital force that ensures Voyageurs Du Monde and the UK departments for Authenticites operate seamlessly. Despite her relatively quiet nature, she exhibits a proactive approach and is adept at handling a variety of tasks, from booking hotels to maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.

In her leisure time, Harshi enjoys immersing herself in Sinhala Classics and finds pleasure in reading, swimming, and cycling. She also dedicates considerable time to the gym, maintaining her physical fitness. One of her top passions is exploring the hills, where she eagerly dons her hiking shoes to discover new trails and delve into the island’s vibrant history. This zest for exploration and learning adds depth to her character and enriches her understanding of the world around her.

With 13+ years of experience in the trade, Ushani joined Authenticities in 2019 and won everyone’s heart with her wit and commitment to do the job to perfection. Often speaking fluent French with an obvious sort of a Sri Lankan accent, she works as a Travel Consultant for Voyageurs Du Monde and holds the title of being the main organizer of any events that we celebrate.

Ask anyone who’s worked with Ushani in the past and see how they get overwhelmed with a sense of nostalgia. A total foodie, Ushani is usually known as the life of the party getting everyone off their seats to dance. Her tastes in music, movies and hobbies draw a wonderful menagerie that can be described with one word: character. A worshipper of jungles and beaches, Ushani mentioned on several occasions that Australia and Singapore are among her favourite travel destinations. Because of her love for nature and wildlife, she’s also a skilled photographer and hoards beautiful snapshots for our image library.

Meet Shazna, the remarkable lady who looks after all of us and is a steadfast advocate for our well-being. With over 14 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration, she skillfully navigates the complexities of managing all our administrative and human resource needs. While we’re busy organizing the hundreds of trips made each year across the country, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating activities, Shazna is the one who ensures everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. She performs what can only be described as miracle work, orchestrating the administrative and HR department to run like clockwork, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. Although she may not travel as frequently as some of her colleagues, her contribution is invaluable and felt in every corner of our operations.

Shazna’s dedication is unwavering, and her presence is a source of comfort and assurance for everyone involved. In return for her hard work and commitment, she asks for just one simple thing: a decent cup of Cappuccino to kickstart every day! This small ritual is her moment of tranquility before diving into the whirlwind of tasks she manages with such grace and efficiency.

All who know Anuruddha would agree that he’s got a “larger than life” personality and of course being around him, there’s never a dull moment. With a smile so contagious and an attitude of always looking at things on the bright side, the guy’s desire to spring up a story explaining eventful incidents from his pastime is just side-splitting!

Anuruddha joined Authenticities in April 2020 and quickly made his way to fit into our culture. With 16 years of experience in tourism, he’s now a celebrated industry veteran who’s got more hobbies than his fingers and toes combined. His fluency in French proved to be very useful during the time of COVID-19 when he decided to offer French lessons as a way of keeping our productivity occupied. Although he’s a Sri Lankan, we believe Anuruddha’s heart is as much a Frenchman’s as it could be. His love for road trips and travelling across Europe is surreal. Exploring the Galle Fortress seems to be another interest during free time where he loves to chat up with visitors over coffee and drinks.

Born and raised in Colombo, Gayan’s easygoing charm and sharp attention to detail make him a natural fit in the world of travel. Gayan has always believed that learning happens both inside and outside the classroom, especially when curiosity leads the way.

With a background shaped by both experience and passion, he thrives on discovering new destinations, cultures, and cuisines. Whether it’s planning the perfect getaway or dreaming up his next adventure, Gayan approaches everything with enthusiasm and heart. When he’s not working, you’ll find him indulging in his favourite hobbies, from catching up on the latest movies to spending quality time with friends and family. His travel bucket list stretches far and wide, but places rich in history and nature always call to him the most.

Popularly known as Lassie, she is renowned for her tenacity, especially when it comes to ensuring our vendors are paid promptly and fairly. Despite her strong-willed nature in business matters, she often finds herself the subject of teasing due to her fondness for domestic adventures. These remarks can sometimes be daunting for her. Over the years, she admits that her passion for music has waned, yet her love for shopping, specifically for leopard-print clothing, remains as vibrant as ever. Recently, we’ve also discovered a new facet of her personality: a burgeoning interest in yoga and spiritualism, which seems to offer her a sense of peace and fulfilment.

With over 13 years of experience, Prabhodha is the remarkable lady who expertly manages our funds and coordinates with mainstream operations on a daily basis. Her role in the company is by no means an easy job, requiring a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills. Despite the challenges, Prabhodha consistently excels, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Through it all, when it comes to following a tidy schedule and adhering to procedures, there’s no one more suited to the task than Prabhodha. Her dedication and expertise are truly invaluable assets to our team.

Born and raised in the heart of Galle, Malshi joined Authenticities in July 2016 as a newbie in the trade. Today with her experience, Malshi supports the Administrative team and works as a finance assistant for Authenticities.

We asked Malshi what she likes to do in her free time and to that she answered, reading and cooking. She further explained her dedication to reading everything that she could possibly get her hands on and the importance of it. Other than that, she’s also skilled in athletics and basketball and loves spending time with the family on road trips.

We feel that wherever Surani goes, she brings a touch of magic. She’s the kind of person who turns mundane errands into exciting adventures, infusing each moment with her vibrant energy and infectious enthusiasm. After graduating from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia, with a Bachelor of Business degree in Tourism and Hospitality, Surani spent over ten years establishing herself in hotel operations. Her dedication and passion for the industry have earned her a reputation for excellence and innovation. An enthusiastic foodie, when Surani isn’t busy planning the next big adventure, she can be found exploring diverse culinary landscapes, eagerly trying out every culinary experience she can get her hands on. Whether it’s sampling street food from a local market or dining in a high-end restaurant, Surani’s love for food mirrors her zest for life, making each meal a memorable journey.

Ramith’s journey from banking to bespoke travel designer is as adventurous as the experiences he creates. Since 2016, he has been a driving force in Sri Lanka’s destination management scene, designing journeys from high-profile incentive programs to exclusive VVIP experiences. With deep product knowledge, a wide network, and a talent for managing complex logistics, Ramith thrives on crafting seamless and memorable adventures for clients from around the world.

Travel isn’t just his work, it’s his passion. Whether discovering hidden beaches, hiking misty hills, or immersing himself in off-the-beaten-path cultural experiences, his own explorations inspire the authentic itineraries he designs.

One of Ramith’s most formative adventures began at age 10, when he joined the Sri Lankan Navy for an extraordinary journey. From dolphin-filled waters off Kalpitiya, flamingos in Mannar, and picnics on deserted islands, to a boat safari in Wilpattu and an evening watching sperm whales, these experiences sparked his lifelong love of exploration.

The South Coast, the North, serene beaches, and cool hill country all hold a special place in his heart. Guided by his motto, “Life is a journey, not a destination,” Ramith crafts trips that connect people with culture, nature, and stories that last a lifetime.

Meet Mishali, a remarkable soul who has become part of Authenticities. What one could tell from the first impressions of meeting Mishali is that the girl possesses the kind of heart and gentle soul which seems to complement her overall expressions and physiognomy. True enough, when you find yourself in a calm conversation with her, you’ll soon find yourself wanting to become lifelong friends.

For over a decade, Mishali pursued a career in banking before being inspired to embark on a new path, one filled with more adventure and inspiration, calling to the explorer within her. She seeks to delve into diverse cultures and embrace the beauty of stories that shape every place. A romantic at heart, Mishali enjoys losing herself in Danielle Steel novels during her free time, when she’s not captivated by her favourite shows on Netflix.

Born and raised in Gampaha, Hazan has spent the past six years turning his love for exploration into a fulfilling career in the travel industry. With his calm confidence and adventurous spirit, he delights in discovering Sri Lanka’s hidden gems, especially those that offer a good hike up a mountain trail or a magical night under the stars.

An avid swimmer and biking enthusiast, Hazan finds his happiest moments outdoors, whether it’s navigating a forest path or diving into a refreshing stream. His most cherished adventure? Hiking along Bambarakanda Falls, where nature’s breathtaking beauty left an unforgettable impression.
When he’s not travelling, Hazan enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or diving into non-fiction books that expand his view of the world. With boundless curiosity and a love for meaningful experiences, Hazan brings both enthusiasm and depth to every journey he helps create.

Meet Pacho, our four-legged authenticity officer. A sleek and spirited Doberman, Pacho doesn’t just lounge around the office, he keeps our team on their toes, spreads cheer to visitors, and reminds everyone to take a moment to enjoy the little things.

Whether greeting guests with a wagging tail, supervising meetings with his watchful eyes, or inspiring impromptu walks around the office, Pacho is more than a mascot, he’s part of the heart and soul of our travel family.

Meet Che, short for Chehan. After completing his schooling, Chehan embarked on an exciting journey to England to pursue higher education. He enrolled in a prestigious university in West London, where he studied Accounting and Business Management. During his time there, Chehan immersed himself in the vibrant atmosphere of London, a city renowned for its eclectic blend of cultures. The dynamic food scene captivated him; from traditional British fare to diverse international cuisines, Chehan relished every culinary experience. However, amidst these new flavours, he often found himself longing for the familiar tastes of his beloved Sri Lankan cuisine.

When Chehan returned to Sri Lanka, little goes without saying his readiness to embark on his professional journey. A chance opportunity led him into the travel industry, where he discovered his passion for exploring new destinations and sharing these experiences with others. His dedication and enthusiasm quickly earned him a reputation as an up-and-coming expert in the field, particularly in matters relating to UK travel.

Outside of work, Chehan enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep him grounded and fulfilled. He is an avid video gamer, finding relaxation and excitement in virtual worlds. However, his true passion lies in playing futsal, a fast-paced version of soccer, which he indulges in every fortnight with his friends. Additionally, Chehan finds joy in unwinding with a good book or delving into documentaries that explore the depths of theological theories, expanding his understanding of different beliefs and philosophies.

Leaving behind a city that’s vividly illustrated by grand boulevards, historic architecture, and, of course, its unparalleled wines, never for a second did Aurélié hesitate on her decision to settle on a tropical island permanently. The interesting life of Aurélie Desclaus, Concierge for Sri Lanka, started back in Bordeaux in France. After completing her studies in Florida, USA, she has travelled to as many as 20 countries, finally lowering her anchor overboard in Sri Lanka. We are all grateful for her decision to stay, especially since her storytelling skills and 15 years of experience in tourism, event management, and incentives have made her a valuable addition to the Authenticities family. Despite being more of a coffee lover than a tea enthusiast, she has embraced the sunny, tropical skies of Sri Lanka. Her tales are always engaging, whether they recount a grand adventure or a simple day at the park, and are filled with subtle hints of humour. Having spent a significant amount of time in Sri Lanka, it’s likely that the places she hasn’t visited are fewer than the fingers on her hand.

When Aurélié is not busy exploring every part of the island, you’ll find her deeply engrossed in photography, art shows, exhibitions, and concerts. She’s always uncovering everything the Sri Lankan culture has to offer, from its heritage to the most modern and contemporary trends.

Kavi, short for Kavishaek, is our rising star at Authenticities. Hailing from the sun-kissed region of the East Coast, he was born and raised amidst the proud and deeply rooted culture of Batticaloa. A representative of the Authenticities Gen-Z generation, Kavishaek joined us in 2022 as an Accounts Assistant. His remarkable dedication and talent saw him swiftly climb the ranks to become a Senior Finance Executive in just one year. Among us, Kavi is affectionately known as a sweet wallflower, with punchlines that catch us by surprise when we least expect them.

Despite his reserved nature, Kavi is diligently pursuing a degree in Accounting (ACCA). Yet, every other weekend, no matter how exhausted he might be, he’s sure to get on board on a long, wearisome bus ride from Colombo to Batticaloa. His unwavering commitment to spending time with his friends and family speaks volumes about his character. During these visits, Kavi enjoys playing basketball or simply unwinding with his friends as they savour a hearty meal of Kottu, his absolute favorite dish. Born and raised in Colombo, he received his education at a reputed school in the heart of the city. While pursuing a part-time diploma in Business Management, Shehan also gained hands-on experience working full-time in the travel industry, where he has now built over four years of valuable expertise.
