The “CONNECT” Initiative adds a responsible and conscientious element to the mixture. It is an opportunity to give something back to benefit the rural communities. The scope of this small yet impactful mission is to support the local education system by ensuring sustainable and meaningful changes are made to the lives of the children we support. From funding towards constructions to scholarships to educational supplies, the methodology is to identify rural primary education and mould a better future for the generations to come.
A visit to a rural Sigiriya school became emotional, as French benefactors were warmly welcomed. They shared stories, sang songs, and donated stationery and cash to build a dance arena for the village children.
Our hearts overflow with gratitude as we announce the Polaththawa Junior School playground renovation is complete! The revived playground is now a vibrant hub, symbolizing hope, unity, and community collaboration, where children’s dreams take flight once more.

The team at Authenticities organized a donation drive for Kandurata Lama Niwasa children during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, sharing love and essential supplies, creating joy and gratitude. As Lao Tzu said, “Kindness in giving creates love.”
We had the privilege of supporting and attending the Samūla Cultural Event, organised by Santani Wellness Kandy: an inaugural festival that highlights the vibrant traditions of Sri Lankan dance, drumming, and craftsmanship from the Kandy region with featured performances by ritual artists, workshops, and engaging activities.
Laptops were donated to a school in Anuradhapura. The laptops were given as donations, thus defining a genuine attempt for children’s welfare and advancement. Lama Mithuru Nokai with the help of Authenticities, worked on improving the school building at Katuwattewela Primary School. The necessary material was bought and all the work around the school was carried out with the help of the parents. The floors of the building were damaged and were cemented again. The pavement around the main hall was in bad shape and it was re-constructed. The Grade 5 classroom walls were plastered and painted as well.

Pinwatte Primary School, with a history spanning 112 years, currently serves 204 students across grades 1–5, with a staff of seven teachers, including the principal. The school was last renovated in 2004, shortly after the tsunami. During their Annual Awards Ceremony in Colombo, employees of Colt Technologies, a multinational company, organized a renovation campaign for the school, with around 80 Colt employees participating in the initiative.
