The railway track from Hatton to Kotagala is currently non-operational due to an urgent repair. Currently commuters could travel from Kandy to Hatton, take the shuttle from Hatton to Kotagala. The railway services re-commences from Kotagala to Nanu Oya and Ella stations and travel to Badulla.
